Life is hard, and it can seem much more difficult when you are newly diagnosed with a disease or are smack in the middle of a flare. Luckily, technological advances have provided some great tools for monitoring your disease, allowing you to spend more time doing the things you love and less time tracking your symptoms.

Today we feature our favorite (and did we mention free?) app, the GI Buddy, released by the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. While it was designed for people with inflammatory bowel disease, we find it useful for all types. The GI Buddy is super easy to use and allows you to:

  • Track your symptoms
  • Stay on top of your treatment
  • Log the foods you eat
  • Monitor your overall well-being
  • Generate reports to help you see trends in your disease
