Digestive Wellness (DW): Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Adam Levine (AL): I'm an advertising graduate student, diagnosed with having the same name as People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. I love watching sports, TV, and movies, and sometimes geek out about each. I love trying new things, specifically going to new and interesting restaurants. But when I have my favorites, I'll get the same dish every single time.

W: How old were you when you were diagnosed?
DW: What has helped you manage your disease the best?

DW: Food you stay away from?
AL: Corn, corn product, nuts
DW: Do you exercise? If so, what type(s)?
AL: I work out 5 days a week and occasionally jog.
DW: Now a few fun facts about you. What is your favorite food?

DW: Favorite Thanksgiving food?
AL: Sweet potato pie.
DW: Yum! Sweet potatoes are super IBD-friendly foods!
DW: Now the most important question: If you could give someone newly diagnosed one tip, what would it be?
AL: Stay healthy. A good diet and exercise is so important. Also stay strong. There are so many others to lean on, and others helped me get through the tough times.
